RACE RESULTS.

These will be updated after each race.

On the 17th and 18th of July 2004, at Brands Hatch, I competed in my first race driving a 1970 March Formula 3 car, and competed in the Classic Racing Cars race, organised by the HSCC. I had already spent two years working on this car, preparing it whilst it was raced by its owner. There were 7 different types of cars in the race.

Class A is for Formula Junior cars built and raced before 31/12/60
Class B is for Formula Junior cars, built and raced between 01/01/1961 and 31/12/1963
Class C is for single seater racing cars, over 500cc built and raced before 31/12/1965
Class D is for Formula 3 cars with 1000cc engines, built and raced between 01/01/1964 and 31/12/1970
Class E2 is for single seater racing cars, up to 1600cc, with two valves per cylinder, built and raced between 01/01/1966 and 31/12/1970
Class E4 is for single seater racing cars, up to 1600cc, with four valves per cylinder, built and raced between 01/01/1966 and 31/12/1970
Class F is for Formula Ford cars built and raced between 01/01/1967 and 31/12/1971 (Not eligible for championship points).

Brands Hatch, 17 and 18 July 2004

There was a total entry of 30 cars in the Classic Racing Cars race.
6 cars were in class D.

In 2005 I raced in a 1991 Van Diemen Formula Ford 1600.
28th of March 2004, at Mallory Park, I raced the Van Diemen, and competed in the Star of the Midlands championship, organised by the BRSSC. There are 5 different classes for the cars in these races.

Class A is for Formula Ford cars built and raced from 01/01/96
Class B is for Formula Ford cars built and raced between 01/01/1990 and 31/12/1995
Class C is for Formula Ford cars built and raced between 01/01/1987 and 31/12/1989
Class D is for Formula Ford cars built and raced between 01/01/1982 and 31/12/1986
Class E is for Formula Ford cars built and raced before 31/12/1981

There was a total entry of 14 cars in the race.
6 cars were in class B.

There was a total entry of 12 cars in the race.
7 cars were in class B.

Donington Park, 28 August 2005

There was a total entry of 16 cars in the race.
7 cars were in class B.

Mallory Park, 4 September 2005

There was a total entry of 13 cars in the race.
7 cars were in class B.

Castle Combe, 8 October 2005

There was a total entry of 19 cars in the first race.
8 cars were in class B.
 

There were 27 cars in the second race.
12 were in class B
